Bridget O’Brien, D.O., FACS, FSSO:Dr. O’Brien is a breast surgical oncologist who is fellowship-trained. She extended her clinical experience as a surgeon and assistant professor at a community-based university hospital in Columbus, OH, after completing her fellowship and before relocating to Texas.
Dr. O’Brien treats benign and malignant male and female breast disorders including fibrocystic disease, fibroadenoma, nipple discharge, gynecomastia, abscess, mastitis, mastopathy of diabetes, breast cancers, tumor of Phyllodes, and breast sarcoma.
Dr. O’Brien regularly teaches other surgeons to close the defect left behind from breast cancer removal through regional , national and international courses on these Secret ScarTM and Oncoplastic techniques. This will greatly minimize cosmetic defects and improvements that are frequently encountered with breast conservation surgery.
