United Cardiac Surgery division headed by Chief Consultant Dr. Jahangir Kabir comprises a cardiac surgery team of 11 Cardiac Surgeons including the Chief Consultant Dr. Jahangir Kabir. He is assisted by 3 Associate Consultants, 1 Junior Consultant and 6 Specialists who are part of the Cardiac Surgery Team. We have 4 Cardiac Operation Theatres which are supported by a team of 10 Cardiac Anesthesiologists headed by Consultant Dr. Md. Shahid Ahmed Chowdhury. The
Cardiac Surgery division of United Cardiac Center has 14 Cardiac ICU (CICU) beds and 10 Step down ICU beds.
United Cardiac Center’s highly skilled and experienced cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and nurses have carried out have carried out more than 8,500 heart surgeries in 9 years, including beating heart coronary bypass, valve replacements / repair & specialty congenital and neonatal heart procedures etc., to help our patients lead a healthy life many heart surgeries such as beating heart bypass, valve replacements, congenital heart procedures etc.
